Clan History:
2E 587
On his own time, Alekt continues searching for numbers for his own group, and some of his Clan bring news of a Clan Bloodtusk who may be a good candidate to make an alliance with.
However, it isn't long before rumors start to circulate both among the ranks of Clan Bloodtusk and Vokun about a growing and ugly rivalry between Bloodtusk and the Commission.
While planting a liaison within the ranks of Bloodtusk, Alekt continues to work quietly within the ranks of the Commission, gathering information on both.
The escalating conflict soon threatens all-out war between the two factions, with the possibility of Kråke caught in the middle as they try to work out alliances with both, outside of either of their knowledge.

Dar'ri brings news to the Clan about the sudden and unexplained appearance of dragons in Elsweyr, which will later become the Clan's main focus for work and reputation.
As the possibility of war between Bloodtusk and the Commission looms and each of their leaders' begin to correspond and negotiate, one of Vokun's members approaches Alekt privately, revealing themselves to be a spy within Bloodtusk's ranks and had become aware of the Clan's existence, scared at the idea that he would betray and backstab the Commission who trusted him.
After some reassurance that the Clan was aiming to de-escalate the tensions as much as they were able before it came to war, the Commission spy asks Alekt to help them leave the Commission quietly and permanently, having lost faith in its leadership.
Alekt and the Comm spy begin to make plans together on how to help both sides avoid a conflict and create a resolution, while carrying on outwardly as if nothing is amiss.

Through a long series of difficult jobs in the region to make a good reputation for themselves and earn favor with the local rulership, Alekt and the Clan establish a new, smaller base in Fell's Run in Rivenspire, territory not under any influence of the collective Commission Families, as well as regionally close to Bloodtusk in Glenumbra.
The Clan worked up enough favor with the rulers of Rivenspire to be granted authority in Fell's Run as a militia guard force, in exchange for their protection against beasts, bandits, vampires, or any other such threats in the territory and the neighboring areas.

Tensions begin to rise between the Clan and Bloodtusk's liaison, who has steadily started to take a stronger side with Bloodtusk and vehemently disagrees with Alekt's decision to try and work with the Commission as another ally.
The Kråke are invited to a large party thrown by Clan Bloodtusk at the Daggerfall docks, where Commission spies infiltrate the party which Clan Bloodtusk is aware of, and one of the Kråke overhear whispers about sinking the ship, assumedly with the Commission spies on it.
Instead, the Kråke are betrayed, with Clan Bloodtusk surrounding them, with their liaison, and their Chief--Thrug Bloodtusk--demanding they declare which side they're going to choose, in front of both his Clan and the spies; Bloodtusk or the Commission.
Alekt refuses to declare his choice under those circumstances, and Thrug reluctantly lets them leave, but declares Clan Bloodtusk and Kråke as enemies should they do anything to get between Bloodtusk and the Commission.

Around this time, Alekt catches wind of the Commission exiling one of its more loyal members that Alekt worked closely with on a few occasions, over some alleged disrespect of the Godfather.
It also comes up that the Commission had become aware of Alekt's Clan, subtly threatening that Alekt make the "right" choice and side with the Commission, rather than Bloodtusk.
Alekt, along with several others of the Vokun family who had lost faith with its declining leadership, banded together and left the Commission behind, with plans to create a new and better alliance of factions.

Its not long afterward that Thrug himself is betrayed by his Kråke liaison and others rallying behind him, and Clan Bloodtusk comes under new leadership.
With continued disagreements and rising tension between the Bloodtusk liaison and Dar'ri, the liaison leaves the Clan, and Kråke's ties to Clan Bloodtusk are completely severed.

Alekt and former Commission members form the Ashen Alliance with regards to networking factions together who would protect each other from other such groups like the Commission or Bloodtusk in the event of being targeted and attacked, planning to use Fell's Run as their common meeting ground.
In the meanwhile, the former Commission spy attempts to reach out to others and convince them to leave the Commission behind, such as Keeper Cecilos, who eventually agrees.
The former-Comm spy and Cecilos make plans for Ceci to be "kidnapped" by a branch of the Dark Brotherhood who joined the Ashen Alliance, and had a score to settle with the Commission's top leadership.
The Brotherhood of Sithis and the Commission arranged to meet and exchange their "hostage" Ceci in Khenarthi's Roost, where the Kråke likewise went to observe, and where Cecilos was given the choice to go back to them, or leave the Commission.
Cecilos chose to leave and stay with the Dark Brotherhood, and the Commission declared that there would be "no peace" between them.
Cecilos was offered a new place, among the Dark Brotherhood, as well as within the ranks of Kråke.

With the troubles of the Commission and Clan Bloodtusk both officially behind the Kråke and all ties cut, they turn their attentions to Elsweyr and the Dragon Crisis, as well as combating Euraxian occupation and necromancy.
News comes to Alekt from the main facilitator of the Ashen Alliance of a man declaring himself the "Lord of Fell's Run", seen at the tavern while a new group was being initiated in to the alliance.
Alekt met with "Lord Zepharus Sylvar", though the meeting went less than well and Alekt and the Clan's presence went disregarded.
Travelers began flocking to Fell's Run, none of which recognized the Kråke's arrangements with the town as any sort of authority as the town's militia guard force, including Zepharus's own newly-imported guards.
Tensions arise between the Kråke Clan and the newcomers to the town, though the Kråke continue their protective services to the town itself regardless of being pushed to the side.

Eventually, the Clan is betrayed by one of its most veteran members, Dar'ri, who leaves the Kråke behind and fights to take over the wolfpack from his mate--Lava--a Talon of the Clan, before turning his sights on threatening the Clan.
Alekt, Reno, and Lava arrange to seek out Hircine in order for Reno to take on a new shapeshifting form to hunt down and kill Dar'ri, offering himself as well as a previously stolen Spear of Bitter Mercy to the Prince as part of the deal.
Hircine agrees, and grants Reno a new, terrifying bestial form. Reno completes his hunt as agreed, and Dar'ri is killed.

The Clan returns its attention to the Dragon Crisis, but begin to distance themselves from it after the Dragonguard becomes established and Senchal involves itself in the fight in Southern Elsweyr.
As summer began to blend into fall, Reno began succumbing to his curse, acting out in uncharacteristic aggression thanks to the recent deal he made with Hircine.
Alekt takes Reno to his own Prince, Nocturnal, in order for Reno to strike a deal with her to suppress his curse from Hircine and sever his connection to the Prince of the Hunt, planting in him magical tethers/restraints that can be activated at any time to control Reno if he loses control of himself.
Its during this time as well that Reno learns from Nocturnal that Alekt has aspirations of becoming one of her Champions.
The tethers work, for a time, and Reno's aggression is curbed.

New factions join the Ashen Circle, including a nearby Khajiiti tribe in the Rivenspire mountains known as the Shadowclaw. As a test of trust, the Shadowclaw invite all allying factions of Ashen to take a test that will explore their darkest memories and lay them bare, one leader from each faction.
Reno volunteers to take the test in place of Alekt, and relives the memories of his first incarnation--Cinead, the adopted son of a Glenmoril witch, and a prodigy of time-manipulation magic--the day he was assassinated for his abilities at a young age and made a deal with Hircine to come back in another life, so long as he swore his soul to the Father of Manbeasts with his last breaths. Hircine agreed to the deal, and Cinead entered a cycle of reincarnation.
Alekt is forced to restrain Reno with the tethers as the trauma of his first life surfaces, but unintentionally causes a fracture in Reno's Being, as Cinead's reincarnated soul fights against them.

Alekt goes to Nocturnal for help to suppress his curse again, but is told that it won't solve the problem, as Reno possesses two souls fighting for control; his own, and Cinead's reincarnated soul, and Cinead is enraged at being "caged" by Nocturnal's influence, that of a Prince that is not his own.
Alekt then comes to the conclusion that in order to fix things, they'll need to find a way to remove Cinead while leaving Reno intact.
Alekt then comes to the conclusion that in order to fix things, they'll need to find a way to remove Cinead while leaving Reno intact.
Alekt seeks out the aid of one of the Ashen Circle's allies, who directs him to an especially talented Necromancer capable of separating Reno and Cinead.
Cinead takes control of Reno and tries to attack Alekt, knowing his plan to "rob" him of his second (sixteenth, but who's counting really) chance at life, but after being bested, agrees to go along with the plan; but only if they can help him find the home of his first life and his mother, of which Cinead doesn't know the exact location.
When the Clan and Cinead manage to locate the home of his first life, the house is in ruin and Cinead's mother had long since passed.
Calling on the necromancer, Cinead's soul was separated from Reno's body and passed to the Hunting Grounds.
Once Reno is returned home with the Clan and free of Cinead's influence, Alekt takes a temporary leave from the Clan to return home to his birth Clan for a few weeks, just as the New Life Festival begins.
